This facilitator introduced us to a birthmom without acquiring medical records, or proof of pregnancy. Once we asked for it, for our own records she confessed she never received them We already developed a relationship, invested time and money (over a month and a half) before she revealed she had nothing and even mentioned to me the baby may be dead in her belly. Long story short,adoption failed and we lost hope, buried our dream to have a daughter and financially we lost over $25,000 between birthmom expenses, facilitator, lawyer, and a HORRIBLE social worker. Please be careful and weary if you are considering adoption. I never felt anyone was watching over our interest or safety just our money in the end. |
