Agency New Life Family Services
Agency Description The New Life Family Services is a Christian non-profit social service agency licensed by the State of Minnesota in 1980 to provide adoption and foster care services on the conviction that a Christ-centered home is a key foundation in preparing a child to become a healthy and whole adult as well as providing answers to questions that may arise out of the adoption experience. It honors the sanctity of human life by assisting clients with life-affirming decisions with the love and compassion of Christ. It compassionately opens its doors and its heart to women and men who believe abortion is the "only" solution to an unplanned pregnancy. They provide education and support with the hope that each client will make a life-affirming decision for their unborn child. They offer free pregnancy-related counseling, ultrasounds, referrals and practical assistance. They discuss the consequences of sex outside of marriage and the benefits of abstinence until marriage. For single moms and birth mothers who have placed a child for adoption, they offer support groups to assist them in their ongoing needs. For those hurting from a past abortion, they offer a recovery group called Conquerors. With every service they provide is their hope that each client will come to know Christ in line with their goal of birth for the little ones, rebirth for their mothers and fathers.

Agency PATH National Support Center
Agency Description The Professional Association of Treatment Homes (PATH), a nonprofit organization, was founded in Minneapolis in 1972 by a group of innovative foster parents and social workers for a new, more personalized approach to foster care for children and youth with special emotional, behavioral and medical needs. It was also their belief these children and youth could be better served in family-based settings, rather than in more restrictive institutional placements such as hospitals, group homes, and residential treatment centers. Having grown with offices throughout Minnesota and North Dakota, PATH now trains and retains extremely talented and committed foster parents and has developed a highly educated and experienced social work staff, for which it continually receives high praise from its Council of Accreditation reviewers about the quality and innovation of its programs and service delivery models. Since 1972, it has provided personalized care to more than 20,000 children.
