We had a wonderful experience with Children's Home. Our daughter has been with use for just over three years and we will go through Children's Home if we adopt again. They were professional, friendly, and really made the process enjoyable... instead of stressful. I love their educational services. They really prepared us for adopting and just being a parent in general! |

Thank you so much for all you've done for me. I just met my birth parents 2 years ago. My life is complete. |

It has been 8 months since we began our paperwork... We have completed everything that we possibly can and submitted it all to the SW. The profiles, financials, classwork, evidence of completing MAPP, photos, etc. Our SW has contacted us one time in 8 months(for the initial visit)and this was 2 months after our initial contact with the agency. Since then there has only been email contact initiated by me. I spoke with a family who we completed MAPP with as they are also on her caseload. They were made told WITH THE EXACT WORDING the statements that we were, which was all would be finished by the end of October. This commitment has not been fulfilled with them either. I have spoken with other CHS staff who assure me she, "is one of the best." Our SW has also stated several times that she is "booked" until the end of the month when I approach her about beginning the home study. On the other hand, I must say, she was kind enough to fwd me the date of backgrounds and fingerprint clearances so we could BABYSIT for another couple who we went through MAPP with who has now been blessed with 3 children. |
