| Agency Description | The Children\'s Home Society of West Virginia provides free counseling services to those experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, including adoption as an option. Birth parents who choose to make an adoption plan are encouraged to participate in selecting the adoptive parents and may continue some form of contact after placement. The Children\'s Home Society of West Virginia provides full adoption services to potential adoptive and foster parents including training, home study, post placement, coordination with partner agencies for International adoption. Many of our families become adoptive parents after providing foster care to children in need of a family. The Children\'s Home Society of West Virginia has been helping children and families since 1896. |
