| Agency Description | We believe that every child is a true miracle planned by and created in the image of God. As such we believe that every child deserves to be loved and nurtured so that they can fulfill God’s master plan for his or her life. We strive to accomplish God’s plan for these children in three ways: foster-care, adoption and surrogacy. We will network and advocate for families willing to adopt children through our foster system and to recruit for families willing to provide temporary foster care to children in need. It is our belief that strong, Christ centered foster homes makes a tangible difference in the healing a child will experience after being removed from his or her primary caregiver. We will seek women in the community who are experiencing unplanned pregnancies and then help them explore the option of adoption. If they choose to make an adoption plan, we will make every effort to insure that their rights and wishes are respected and that they are treated in a non-judgmental, compassionate manner. If parenting is the option that they feel is best for themselves and their child, we will find community resources that can help them become a stronger family unit. It is our objective that any woman we provide services to will leave our care having had a positive experience, as well as the goals and skills necessary to live a productive life. When assisting families who wish to pursue surrogacy, we will first and foremost only advocate for surrogacy methods that respect the right to life from the moment of conception. We will also attempt to match families and surrogates who share Christian beliefs and values so that they may grow this child in Christ’s love. |
