| Agency Description | Family Services, Inc., is a private, non-profit organization serving Forsyth, Davie and Stokes counties in North Carolina since 1905. Working together with individuals and families, it offers a full range of services including counseling, education, intervention, and advocacy. It is the primary provider of Head Start services to children and families and for domestic violence programs which includes a shelter for women and their children. For over 100 years, it has been serving families in Forsyth, Stokes and Davie Counties in North Carolina through programs in the following areas: Counseling Services, Adoption Services, Pregnancy Counseling, Head Start , Contact Reassurance, Safe Relationships (formerly Violence Response which includes a broad array of services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and child maltreatment, as well as a program for domestic violence offenders), and Ways to Work. |
