| Agency Description | Licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, “For This Child” is an international child placing agency with over 500 international child adoptions. Offering adoption programs in Guatemala and Kazakhstan, on February 29, 2008, FTC was among the first U.S. adoption agencies to achieve United States Hague Approval from the Council on Accreditation (COA) pursuant to the U.S. Intercountry Adoption Act of 2000. Please note the FTC is not accepting any new applications for adoption services other than home studies for Texas residents. The Guatemalan and Kazakhstan programs are currently closed to new applicants. Please continue checking back as they will update the website at the time they can accept new applications for our intercountry adoption programs. |
