I had not only gave one couple one child, I gave two beautiful girls a loving couple. I was 17y/o at the time of the first daughter birth, Natalie had some kidney problems so before i allowed this adoption to proceed until i knew my daughter was gonna be ok,after three months i gave this beautiful child away, I was uneducated on adoption and very confused, however i knew that this would be the best thing at this time for my baby. Well almost two years later i gave birth to a second child same father as the first baby, I loved him dearly we cried together, but i informed him that since his recent incarceration that i was going to give this child up for adoption and hopefully this child could possibly go with the first family and be with her biological sister, they agreed... and not to mention very thrilled. I did receive sharing sheets and some pictures, well then in 1996 all of a sudden this stopped, I made calls to Golden cradle and was more or less telling me thing that i wanted to hear, I waited and waited then i finally came too the conclusion that im gonna let it go. Well i can tell you that this has been very difficult for me, mentally and emotionally i was completly devastated by this. I now know that this family that has not one of my children but two of the most beautiful girls in the world, and now MY children are both in their twenties... from the letters i have from the adoptive mother stated several times she would never let this happen, and she did, and I cant even say that how could another human being hurt someone that gave her and her husband something that they could not have, i say she will never know the hurt and damage that she caused me, I now do have contact with the biological father, and he now is aware of all of this.. this experience has left me with wounds that i cannot seem too heal and everyday i feel like someone has put salt in these wounds on a daily basis, All i wanted was pictures and letters to continue, im now 40y/o and im suffering from alot of depression and no one too talk too, i just want some answers about my situation, i have a good reason for waiting this long, i wanted to make sure they were old enough to try too persue this matter |

Six years ago we began a journey of bringing our son home. We used Golden Cradle for our home study, and right from the beginning the staff was exceptional. They were always available and did everything that we needed to be completed in a timely manner. We could not have done it without them. Our son came from Russia and Golden Cradle navigated all the paperwork necessary professionally and courteously. They were also there to complete our post placement visits, and ensure a smooth transition. |

Golden Cradle is the most caring, wonderful agency! They are always updating us and are so easy to work with. In July of 2007, we were overjoyed with the arrival of our son Mason James. It was/is the most amazing event of our lives.... the day Golden Cradle placed this sweet baby boy in our arms and trusted us to be his forever family. Words cannot express our gratitude to the entire Golden Cradle staff for their professionism, hard work, and determination to build our family. My experience with Golden Cradle was excellent. From the moment I spoke to them on the phone about having a home study until today, they were my guardian angels. My husband and I had originally chose an agency in another state but had to have the home study done locally. As it turned out the other agency was not a licensed agency therefore, we could not use them. That was probably one of the best things to happen to us. Golden Cradle's staff took us on as their clients and have been there to guide us through the whole adoption process. Our whole adoption process had taken 2yrs (from the first phone call to finalization). The staff at Golden Cradle is caring, knowledgable, willing to answer all your questions and they make you feel at ease. |

We're pursuing international adoption and used Golden Cradle for our home study. The final product was good, (our placing agency commented that it was). But, the process was not. I felt there were several times when our social worker could have worked to expedite the whole process, but didn't. For example, sending out an email about child abuse clearance outside of the state and simply waiting for a response (sometimes for weeks or months), instead of following up with a repeat email or phone call when no response was obtained. I felt like I was the one who had to call her to remind her of the items we were waiting on to complete our home study. |

Golden Cradle Adoption Services is the reason I am here today. When I was born in 1981, my birth mother made one of the most difficult choices anyone can make to give me up for adoption. I can't imagine how scared and nervous she and my birth father were making that decision, but because of Golden Cradle, I was placed with an amazing, loving family and was able to grow up with a family that could give me what my birth parents could not at the time. Golden Cradle also helped me through the process of contacting my birth mother once I had reached an age where I felt it was important for me to connect. They made the process so easy and reassured me through all of MY fears. If you are considering giving up a child for adoption, OR if you are an adoptive family looking to adopt, I highly recommend this agency. I am living proof that it works :) |

I had a great experience using Golden Cradle to aid in the adoption of my daughter. They are a smaller agency, but that meant I always got to deal with the same people who knew me. The education was great and so was the support. My questions and calls were always answered promptly. When my adoption hit a brief snag (unrelated to anything they did), they were supportive, and they helped resolve the situation. I know my daughter's birthparents also felt very comfortable with the agency. |
