| Agency Description | The New Life Family Services is a Christian non-profit social service agency licensed by the State of Minnesota in 1980 to provide adoption and foster care services on the conviction that a Christ-centered home is a key foundation in preparing a child to become a healthy and whole adult as well as providing answers to questions that may arise out of the adoption experience. It honors the sanctity of human life by assisting clients with life-affirming decisions with the love and compassion of Christ. It compassionately opens its doors and its heart to women and men who believe abortion is the "only" solution to an unplanned pregnancy. They provide education and support with the hope that each client will make a life-affirming decision for their unborn child. They offer free pregnancy-related counseling, ultrasounds, referrals and practical assistance. They discuss the consequences of sex outside of marriage and the benefits of abstinence until marriage. For single moms and birth mothers who have placed a child for adoption, they offer support groups to assist them in their ongoing needs. For those hurting from a past abortion, they offer a recovery group called Conquerors. With every service they provide is their hope that each client will come to know Christ in line with their goal of birth for the little ones, rebirth for their mothers and fathers. |
