North American Council on Adoptable Children (NACAC)

Agency North American Council on Adoptable Children (NACAC)
Agency Description Founded in 1974 by adoptive parents in a situation where tens of thousands of children cannot remain with their birth families, the North American Council on Adoptable Children (NACAC) is committed to meeting the needs of waiting children and the families who adopt them. Based on our belief that “every child has the right to a permanent, nurturing and culturally sensitive family,” and that they need loving families, NACAC provides direct adoption information and support in Minnesota, the U.S., and Canada. It also identifies, evaluates, and helps replicate effective post-adoption support models through advocacy, education, and training throughout the U.S. and Canada.
