| Agency Description | Founded in 1900 as an orphanage, the Cleveland Christian Home is a haven for hope and healing for children, youth and families struggling with mental illness, abuse or neglect. It provides residential treatment for children with emotional and behavioral disturbances, adoption for the neediest children, counseling for at-risk children, an independent living program for teen moms, and in-home therapy for families in crisis. With this, the Cleveland Christian Home will be a center of excellence providing the highest quality services to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, cultural and spiritual needs of children, youth and families As a non-denominational organization, it receives the bulk of its client referrals through county health services, and continues to be called Cleveland Christian Home in honor of its heritage. |
